What: 2 day Immersion/Refresher/Mini YTT

When: Saturday 11/16 10am-6pm and Sunday 11/17 10am-6pm
Why: We are offering a 16hr CEU training, certified with Yoga Alliance open to ALL. This will be an eye opener for all teachers, a great refresher for even the most experienced teachers, and will offer insight for all practitioners ranging from novice-veteran just looking to heal and grow in their practice. If you are looking to become a stronger, more confident, competent, compassionate sharer of this life practice, you don’t want to miss this opportunity.
This takes the best of what exists in 200 and 300hr YTT’s and transforms them into a dynamic, spiritual, and uplifting weekend of letting go and growing.
Recognize and develop a relationship with your true self, your purpose(Dharma), refine your teaching, and learn the true science and art of the practice.
Lectures: Yoga as a Life Practice, 7 Stages of Vinyasa Yoga, 7 Guidelines for Making Connections, 5 Kinds of Assists, The Art of Listening, Becoming a Master Teacher
Physical Practice: Ashtanga(Modified Primary and Intermediate Series), Vinyasa, Slowburn(Eyes-Closed Vinyasa), Yin.
The course includes in-depth, expository studies in Hatha, Raja, Mantra, Karma, Bhakti, and Jnana yogas.

Join us for a fun night of Vino Vinyasa. We will begin with a 60 minute Vinyasa flow class led by Jesse and end with a glass (or two) of wine. We will breathe, flow, connect, and even have a little fun before our post yoga social hour. BYO mat. Namaste & Cheers!

Let Go and Grow Yoga Retreat in Harrisonburg, VA
When: December 6 - 8
The Grateful Yoga "Let Go and Grow" yoga retreat is an opportunity
to dig a little deeper into our yoga practice, and free ourselves from
our own "citta vrttis"(Mind Fluctuations). Like always, let's Let Go and Grow!
Over your time with us there will be many yoga classes/workshops covering multiple styles of Hatha/Raja/Karma/Bhakti/Jnana/Mantra Yogas, meditations, hiking, campfires, pranayama breath work, arts and crafts, and more as well as an ongoing exploration of the 8 limbs of yoga- everything is optional, of course, but you are encouraged to participate in all activities. Here is a look at what the schedule will be like, but expect some subtle modifications to better serve you:

The retreat will be held at Mountain Valley Meeting and Retreat Center. Mountain Valley is known for it's beautiful views, serene atmosphere, and its privacy. The space is used throughout the year as a meeting and retreat center, as well as hosting weddings. It is located about a 10-12 minute drive from downtown Harrisonburg, by James Madison University. The town is great and will be useful for a couple meals. There are Thai, Italian, Japanese, Indian and many other restaurants in town, as well as some cool architecture, old buildings, shops and more.
On site, cabins that accommodate 1-2 people with their own private bathrooms, indoor yoga, healthy, vegan snacking options all-day everyday, (TGY) means The Grateful Yoga is providing meals(see below for meal guide), and more.
